Night Fright C47 Socks
This very special C-47’s career could’ve very well ended in 1945 – it sure as hell deserved a peaceful retirement. Fortunately, the universe had bigger plans for this big bird.
First, it found its way to commercial service, and later into the French Navy for training patrols. Eventually, it returned to the United States, where it worked as cargo plane. Today, Night Fright is undergoing the meticulous restoration it deserved.
With an expected return to flight in late 2023, Night Fright is poised to become an enduring symbol of heroism and a living piece of World War II history.
Our Night Fright Socks are a tribute to this epic warbird, from its glorious Normandy beach debut to its upcoming renewed life as an airborne museum. All socks sold will help the aircraft’s restoration.
