If the X-1 knocked on the door, the X-15 kicked it down. Part aircraft, part spacecraft, all attitude: the black North American X-15 hit Mach 6.7 and climbed past the edge of space — its pilots, a quiet engineer named Neil Armstrong among them, earned astronaut wings without ever boarding a rocket. 80% Combed Cotton, 17% Polyamide, 3% Elastane. We use seamless knitting to create a sock with no stitches. Wash inside out (40ºC/100ºF max). Do not tumble dry, iron, bleach or dry clean.
